ABOUT THE TRAINERS
DEANY LALIOTIS,
LCSW-C
Deany Laliotis, LCSW-C is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical
experience specializing in using EMDR with traumatic stress, anxiety disorders
and performance enhancement. Deany has been on the faculty of EMDR Institute
since 1993, and has presented on EMDR and advanced applications of EMDR
at numerous conferences around the country. In addition to her clinical
practice, Deany conducts ongoing clinical consultation groups on EMDR
throughout the region.
DANIEL MERLIS,
LCSW-C
Daniel Merlis, LCSW-C has 30 years experience as a psychotherapist and
traumatologist. As former Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at
the University of Maryland School of Medicine for nearly 20 years, he
has extensive experience teaching and supervising psychotherapists. Dan
has served on the faculty of the EMDR Institute since 1992, and as an
officer for the EMDR International Association as well as editor of the
EMDRIA clinical publications. He has taught and supervised EMDR practitioners
for over ten years.
