ABOUT THE TRAINING

GOAL
This experiential training will familiarize participants with a broad spectrum of EMDR applications sufficient for comfortable and efficient use of the approach with a wide range of patients and situations. Special attention will be given to the creative formulation of the specialized hierarchies that directly address the therapeutic needs of clients.

COURSE FORMAT
This 7-session format is especially designed for clinicians who are interested in learning to integrate EMDR successfully into their clinical practice by developing and applying their skills over an extended period of time. The seminar will consist of lecture, live and videotaped demonstrations, case studies, and supervised practice. Participants will have ample opportunity to discus their cases and evaluate how EMDR can be applied. This extended format also allows for follow-up on EMDR cases throughout the course. Participants will have ample opportunity to practice EMDR in small groups with direct observation and feedback from the trainers.
